How to Make Money With a Gold Party

Want to make tons of cash by holding a gold party? It’s never been easier. In today’s declining economy your friends and neighbors need cash. Gold parties can enable you to own your own profitable business and are a wonderful way to have serious fun while doing it. Gold parties are great for socializing and renewing friendships with friends and family. You can host a gold party at your home, your office, church, school, a hotel room, or wherever it’s easy to meet with people with a desire to trade their scrap jewelry for cash.

Your startup costs consist of some fliers (see Resources at the end of this Book), business cards (http://www.VistaPrint.com) to build your gold business, perhaps some chips and dip for your gold party, and a web site at some time in the future. Additionally, you’ll need some basic testing materials and a scale; plan to invest approximately $25 to $50 for these items.

Basically there are two methods for conducting your gold party.
Partner with a jewelry store or a pawn shop and have them act as an “agent” who buys gold from your gold party guests. Your “partner/agent” arrives at your location with their testing materials and pays cash for your guest’s gold, silver, and platinum scrap jewelry. This “partner/agent” typically pays you, as the host, 10% of the total purchases made at your gold party.

You act on your own as the “buyer” of jewelry from your guests using your own cash to make the purchases. You then hand deliver your purchased scrap jewelry to a refiner or you mail it to a refiner. In this scenario you’ve eliminated the “middle-man” (the pawn shop or jeweler) so you can make more profits for yourself, pay your guests more for their scrap or a combination of these strategies.

If you choose to use a gold buying “agent” you will typically receive 10% of the total sales at all gold parties you host and 3% to 5% from anyone’s party that is booked as a result of your home party.

If you prefer to seriously make this your business, even higher profits will be a reality. You can pay whatever you feel is appropriate for the scrap gold, silver and platinum presented to you for purchase.

You can make hundreds of dollars in just a couple of hours just by bringing a few friends, family and acquaintances into the comfort of your own home!
